The Department of Medicine’s physicians provide comprehensive services for patients over the age of 14 years. It provides a 24-hour service for emergencies, as well as a complete on-site diagnostic testing service for common illnesses and complex problems. Diagnosing and treating health conditions that require prompt attention; conducting physical examinations and performing screenings that may detect conditions in an early stage of manifestation. The department provides care for both acute and chronic conditions that include scheduled and emergency cases.

Adult Cardiology Service

The department is capable of providing a whole spectrum of preventative, diagnostic and non-invasive cardiology procedures.

These services are provided through a number of components of the Cardiology Department: These are the Cardiac Outpatient Clinic and the Cardiac Non-Invasive Laboratory.

It conducts initial assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic skin diseases in all age groups. The service is chiefly out-patient based however in-patient consultations are a daily practice.
Service includes the entire scope of medical and surgical treatment of dermatological lesions and skin conditions.

Narrowband UVB Phototherapy: Narrowband UVB has become the Phototherapy treatment of choice for psoriasis, vitiligo, atopic dermatitis and other photo responsive skin disorders.

This new Phototherapy modality is safer more effective than PUVA, (Photo-Chemotherapy)
