King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah

King Abdulaziz Hospital is one of the latest hospitals of the Saudi Ministry of Health, which was designed according to the latest international standards. The hospital is located south of Jeddah.

The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provides medical services to patients in all medical specialties.

The government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince has given great care and attention to the advancement of health services. It has spared no effort in establishing hospitals. In 1990, work was started with a lofty medical edifice in Jeddah, which is King Abdulaziz Hospital, which is one of the newest and most prestigious hospitals of the Ministry of Health.

The hospital was built and designed according to the latest international standards on an area of ​​more than 200,000 square meters and contains 445 beds for various medical specialties. The hospital affiliated to the Ministry of Health is located in the south of Jeddah.

The hospital operates throughout the week, 24 hours a day, through the Accident and Emergency Department, and outpatient services are provided from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon, all days of the week, except Thursday and Friday.

King Abdulaziz Hospital provides health services in all specialties such as surgery departments, internal medicine departments, pediatrics department, obstetrics and gynecology department, accident and emergency department, rehabilitation center in addition to supporting medical services such as diagnostic radiology, laboratory and pharmacy.

Intensive care services are also provided in the intensive care unit, cardiac intensive care unit, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit, burn unit, and kidney unit. The hospital obtained the recognition of the Arab Board of Medical Specialties and the British Royal College for all four major specialties in the hospital (surgery - internal medicine - obstetrics and gynecology - children), since the first year of operation of the hospital.

The hospital obtained an accreditation certificate from the Makkah Region Council for the Accreditation of Health Facilities (MRQP) in the year 1428 AH. The hospital obtained the accreditation certificate from the Central Board for Accreditation of Health Institutions (CBAHI) in the year 1430 AH. The hospital obtained the Joint Commission International for the accreditation of health facilities (JCI) in 2013.
