About the hospital
The Directorate General of Health Affairs in Najran has begun operating the new Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Hospital.
The Director General of Najran Health explained that the clinical capacity of the hospital is 200 beds, pointing out that there will be a qualitative shift in the field of mental health services and addiction treatment, as it is a model designed in accordance with the requirements and standards approved by the Ministry of Health.
The 29 patients were also transferred to the new hospital and work will begin with the opening of three new buildings, including the Department of Psychiatric Treatment for Men, the Department of Psychiatric Treatment for Women and the Addiction Treatment Department.
