About the hospital
On Sunday evening, 10/2/1418 AH, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, inaugurated Al-Iman General Hospital, which is located south of Riyadh, at a cost of 202 million riyals.
The hospital will provide health coverage for about (206,528) people in the Riyadh region, and it will have a capacity of two hundred beds, and it has been linked to twelve primary health care centers.
The hospital consists of three floors and contains housing units for doctors and nursing staff. It includes a recreational center, a mosque, and a supermarket that serves the hospital housing.
The hospital includes all medical departments that have been equipped with the latest medical devices and qualified cadres (which are: outpatient clinics, ambulance and emergency department, radiology department, laboratory and blood bank department, physiotherapy department, operations sector, obstetrics sector, intensive care department, nurseries department, Artificial kidneys, pharmacy department, and medical records department.
The construction and equipping of the hospital was completed in the year 1415 AH, and the operation began on 06/26/1417 AH with the preparation and preparation of the various departments to start the actual operation, as well as work began in the outpatient clinics on 11/13/1417 AH, and work began with the full operational capacity of the emergency departments First aid, operations, and hospitalization wards at the beginning of the Hijri year 1418 AH.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, stressed that the medical progress in the Kingdom and in all hospitals is the best evidence of the state’s care for these important facilities that care and concern the citizens. His Highness also confirmed that the efforts of the Ministry of Health are great and visible in the field of providing health services.
His Highness said that the state will spare no effort for the advancement and progress of this country, explaining that all that we live is from the seeds of King Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him - which his sons nurture and water them with their love, dedication and sincerity for the sake of this faith, this people and this country.
