The idea and dream of establishing the Health Oasis Hospital to care for the elderly and long-stay patients began in the year (2005-2006 AD), and many prestigious centers in Europe and America were visited to benefit from their expertise in this relatively new and newborn medical specialty in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between 2006-2009 AD .
The initial operational phase began in (2010-2011 AD) to ensure the hospital's readiness and its provision of comprehensive health services with the highest possible quality and effectiveness.
In January 2012, the second (main) operational phase was started with full readiness and capacity, as the entire rooms were filled in less than a year due to the urgent need and high quality of specialized services for the elderly and long-stay patients and transferring to it from the major hospitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia such as King Faisal Specialist Hospital In Riyadh, Prince Sultan Military Medical City, King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh, King Saud Medical City in Riyadh and Ministry of Health Hospitals.
