Al Amal Mental Health Complex in Medina opened in 1434 and contains emergency buildings, intensive care, outpatient clinics, support services from pharmacies, radiology departments and laboratories, as well as auxiliary buildings for the complex, as well as eight hypnosis villas providing psychiatric services, addiction treatment, and the complex has 2 recreational centers, various recreational and patient service facilities.

Health is implementing the Health Performance Programme, which aims to raise productivity levels, efficiency and quality of performance in the delivery of hospital health services, and currently includes 70 major hospitals, with more than 40 performance indicators applied in seven service areas: emergencies, clinics, operations, hypnosis, intensive care, radiology and laboratories.
